IACET Advisory Boards

The function of an advisory board is to aid enterprises with anything from marketing to managing human resources to influencing the direction of regulators. Advisory boards are composed of accomplished experts offering innovative advice and dynamic perspectives.

Advisory Board members should have a passion for the Project's mission and work, possess the highest personal and professional integrity and values, and be thought leaders with strategic insight in their respective fields. The Advisory Board should reflect diversity in experience, gender, race, and age.

There may be times when IACET will need to form an Advisory Board to provide input on specific issues or for certain industries. An Advisory Board provides non-binding advice and members are not authorized to act for - or make decisions on behalf of - the organization.

The Commitment

Advisory Board commitment may be less time-consuming than a commitment as on boards of directors. Depending on the industry focus, a typical advisory board will meet only once or twice a year.

IACET Advisory Boards will meet three times over the next year. At the last meeting, the board along with the CEO will determine if there is a need for the advisory board to continue.
