A Carnegie Institute of Technology study once stated that "85% of your success in the next five years will depend on your ability to speak and communicate your ideas." However, it has become evident that most educators lack the training they need to successfully do just that - communicate with adult learners. In order to actively engage participants, it's integral to understand that speaking to adults does not look the same as speaking to children. Most presenters naturally mimic the skills their teachers or professors used on them at a much younger age. As a result, subject matter experts often fall victim to presenting important information in a dull and uninteresting manner. The consequences of this can include the tuning out of or even walking out of training. Given the overall lack of readily available coaching on how to become a competent speaker, this webinar will provide helpful insight on improving your communication style in adult learning environments.

By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:
- Highlight major differences between training adults vs. children
- Explain why engagement matters in a learning environment
- Observe and identify body language and what is being communicated through it
- Implement techniques to remove a monotone voice
