IACET Publishes Petroleum and Natural Gas Addendum

The IACET Petroleum and Natural Gas (PNG) Addendum is an extension of the ANSI/IACET 1-2018 Standard for Continuing Education and Training. The IACET-PNG Addendum is a product of more than a year and half of effort by IACET-PNG Advisory Board and was designed by petroleum and natural gas stakeholders from more than 20 different industry organizations. The IACET-PNG Addendum contains 34 additional elements to the ANSI/IACET 1-2018 Standard for Continuing Education and Training.

IACET Inaugurates New Educational Offering in Saudi Arabia

IACET recently partnered with King Saud University, the largest university in Saudi Arabia, to inaugurate a new educational program called Continuing Education and Training Standards for the 21^st Century. The 21st Century program is a two-day, interactive course designed to help organizations systematize the ANSI/IACET 1-2018 Standard for Continuing Education and Training. Over the course of two days, participants examine important frameworks involving the purpose of accreditation and how to systematize each of the categories in the ANSI/IACET 1-2018 Standard. For the inaugural program, the university provided more than 20 department heads and staff to learn how to set, implement and evaluate standards implemented in the organization.

DAVID ORTNER APPOINTED TO THE IACET BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Reston, Virginia – Long time IACET stakeholder, David Ortner has been appointed to serve on the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) Board of Directors. IACET is a third-party accrediting agency that ensures providers of continuing education and training (CE/T) have completed rigorous audits that meet the ANSI/IACET 2018-1 Standard addressing the design, development, administration, and evaluation of learning programs.
