EXPERTS IN TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT JOIN IACET BOARD OF DIRECTORS
(McLean, VA, October 6th, 2014)—Advancing the global workforce is the mission of the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET), a worldwide leader in providing a standard framework for quality learning and development through accreditation.
At its annual fall meeting in Irvine, California, IACET welcomed several recently elected members to its 2014-15 board of directors, which is comprised of leaders from a vast array of industries in the training and education field.
"With so much demand for training in the manufacturing, construction and engineering fields, we are delighted to have our newest board members come from these industries to share their insights and expertise.” said Sara Meier, executive director of IACET.
Sandra L. Williams, Assistant Professor and Human Resource Development Program Coordinator at Northeastern Illinois University (Chicago, IL) is the new 2014-2015 IACET board president.
“It is an honor for me to welcome and serve alongside our new officers and directors. My congratulations go to Lori Schnaider (president-elect), Peter Finn, (treasurer), Clyde Seepersad (secretary), Carrie Schiers (director) and J. Kevin Perry (director)," said Williams. IACET's newly elected directors took office on September 19th, 2014.
