IACET has announced its first ever live and virtual accreditation workshop. On November 9, 2017, attendees will have a choice between being in an attractive onsite location in downtown Chicago, or attending virtually from anywhere in the world. IACET CEO, Joe McClary said, ”IACET needs to make our workshops available to people in numerous locations while still serving many who enjoy the onsite experience. By IACET deploying a virtual classroom with its partner MicroTek, IACET will be able to bring remote attendees into our classroom with all the interaction and engagement you would normally have in a live event. Our desire is to model what excellent hybrid/virtual learning can be. This virtual enviroment will be far more interactive and collaborative than typical webinars.”
Attendees for the virtual event will be required to have a webcam and microphone enabled on their computer. Onsite learners will be able to see remote learners, and vice versa, as if they were in the same room. Learners will be able to interact with other learners and the instructors who will be delivering the training live from Chicago.
