In September 2020, IACET announced that the organization was changing the “A” in IACET to represent Accreditors instead of Association.
This is what we do – accredit organizations who meet the rigor and satisfy the requirements of the ANSI/IACET Standard. In place of submitting annual membership dues, Accredited Providers will submit their Annual Reports and their annual maintenance fee. Rather than commissioners scheduling virtual site visits, we are conducting accreditation interviews. Some of our terminology has changed to better reflect our role as an accrediting body.

International Association for Continuing Education and Training | International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training |

If you are currently an IACET Accredited Provider (AP), please ensure that you are using the approved short or long statement to reflect your relationship with IACET in your marketing or promotional materials, including your website. The statements and IACET logo can be found here.

In March of 2021, we worked with the Accreditation Review Committee to clarify the language in the applications and expand the guidance provided. As we look forward to 2022, we are updating other IACET Resources and have scheduled many training opportunities for you – accreditation workshops, professional development seminars and webinars, Open Digital Badge courses, and A Practical Approach to Training Adult seminars. We want to equip you for tomorrow and assist you in your accreditation journey!
